Founded by Tapan Kant MD, with over 20 years of experience in primary and urgent care, Stellicare addresses the disconnect between doctors and their patients caused by outdated systems and excessive admin work.

Leadership Bios

Dr Tapan N. Kant MD

FOUNDER & CEO

Dr. Tapan N. Kant MD is a family medicine doctor in Atlanta, Georgia. He received his medical degree from Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and has been in practice for more than 20 years. Dr. Kant is an entrepreneur and has recently started Stellicare, with Lunagen founders, to bring AI technology to the business needs of private physicians operating Direct Primary Care practices. He is the CEO of Stellicare.

Suresh Sharma

CO-FOUNDER, CHAIRMAN

A former GE executive-turned-entrepreneur with unique insights into multiple industries, digital technologies and the process of commercializing innovation. His early patents and know-how are in data analytics, automation, work flows, operational excellence, and optimal strategies for growth with profitability. Having done several startups, including three of them in the healthcare industry, and with his extensive experience in marquee international organizations like British Aerospace (UK), GE Energy, GE Global Research and Georgia Institute of Technology; he contributes to customer success with his proven ability to scale businesses globally. Suresh also founded Open Range Capital Partners, a firm focused on "Industrializing Innovation"—that helps build integrated innovation ecosystems. An exemplary business leader—who all along in his life—has documented and shared his learnings through his well-known published business books. The latest one in this journey is "DIGITAL SHOCK: Seven Shocks That Are Shaping the Future" (2025).

Prem Talreja

CO-FOUNDER & Marketing Advisor

Prem is an tech executive, investor and advisor based in San Francisco Bay Area. He has a significant experience in the tech industry, particularly with semiconductor companies and cloud infra startups. He held leadership positions at various tech companies where he was responsible for product defintion, sales, and marketing. At The Fabric VC, he nurtured entrepreneurs in the SaaS space and helped startups validate their products, build market presence, and secure customers. He help advisory roles at VeloCloud (VMware), Appcito (A10 Networks), Perspica (Cisco), Drastin (Splunk) and others. He is a graduate of BITS-Pilani, India, University of Wisconsin and hold an MBA from Duke, Fuqua School of Business.

Miguel Fuentes Buchholtz

FOUNDER & CTO, VP ENGINEERING, CUSTOMER SUCCESS

Miguel is a technology and business executive and advisor with over 17 years of experience in the technology industry. He has a strong background in software development, data analysis, software architecture, automation, and blockchain. He has held various roles, including Co-Founder of Tuten and Variacode, several roles within the Santiago Stock Exchange, and General Manager of the Chile Site at PagerDuty. His expertise lies in start-up consulting, business development, and technical leadership. He has also worked as a consultant for various companies, including Rundeck, Inc. His vertical experience spans different industries, including finance, compliance, and last-mile operations. Currently, he is advising the following companies: variacode.com, lexgo.cl, zensi.ai, orionx.com, vitrain.cl & banca.me.

Brandon Colina

TECHNOLOGY LEAD MANAGER

With over a decade of experience in driving AI innovation and technical excellence, Brandon specializes in creating scalable, high-impact solutions that align with business objectives. His expertise includes AI & Machine Learning, spearheading the development of AI-powered solutions using AWS Bedrock, LangChain, and LangGraph, delivering fully functional agents that leverage LLMs for advanced automation and customer-specific solutions. He brings a proven track record in leading teams, fostering collaboration, and driving technical strategies to deliver complex projects on time. Expert in AWS cloud infrastructure (ECS, EC2, RDS, Lambda) and using Terraform to automate infrastructure deployments, ensuring resilience and cost efficiency. Led efforts to implement CI/CD pipelines and integrated monitoring systems (Datadog, AWS CloudWatch) to ensure reliability and proactive incident management with tools like PagerDuty.
